Architectural lighting products

Build the lighting system around the application.

Profiles, LED strips, diffusers, drivers and controls should be considered together instead of selecting each component independently.

PRF

Aluminum LED Profiles

Recessed, plaster-in, surface, corner, suspended and specialty profile geometries.

LED

LED Strip

Select output, voltage, LED density, colour temperature, CRI and protection level around the application.

DIF

Diffusers & Optics

Manage visible LED spotting, glare, transmission and distribution of light.

PWR

LED Drivers

Coordinate voltage, total load, run lengths, dimming and installation location.

CTL

Controls & Sensors

Add switching, dimming, motion sensing, proximity sensing or networked control.

ACC

Accessories & Wiring

Complete LED system

Coordinate the system before installation.

A successful linear lighting system depends on the interaction between the profile, light source, diffuser, power supply and controls.

01

Profile

Choose geometry around installation, appearance, available space and heat management.

02

LED source

Define voltage, output, colour temperature, LED density and CRI.

03

Diffusion

Balance light transmission, glare reduction and visual uniformity.

04

Power & control

Coordinate driver capacity, voltage drop, dimming, sensors and control zones.

Specification guide

Define the operating conditions first.

The information below helps narrow the profile, LED source, driver and controls suitable for a project.

FIT

Installation method

Surface, recessed, plaster-in, tile, suspended, edge-lit or specialty mounting.

LUX

Lighting purpose

Task, ambient, decorative, indirect, pathway or feature lighting.

RUN

Linear run lengths

Confirm individual and total lengths so power requirements and voltage drop can be reviewed.

CCT

Architectural lighting FAQs

Questions before specifying the system.

Final component selection depends on application, dimensions, environment, light output, controls and installation method.

What is an aluminum LED profile?
An aluminum LED profile houses LED strip and helps provide mounting, protection, heat management, diffusion and a finished appearance.
How do I choose between recessed, surface and plaster-in profiles?
The correct profile depends on the construction method, available cavity depth, desired visible trim and whether the lighting is being installed during construction or as a retrofit.
How can visible LED dots be reduced?
LED density, channel depth, diffuser type and the distance between the LED source and diffuser all affect visible spotting.
Can BPS help coordinate drivers and controls?
Yes. Project requirements can be reviewed around LED voltage, connected load, dimming, switching, sensing and control zones.
Can the same LED system be used outdoors or in wet areas?
Not automatically. Exterior, shower, sauna and other demanding environments require components selected specifically for the expected exposure and installation.
What project information should I send?
Send the application, installation type, individual run lengths, required light effect, colour temperature, control requirements, environment and drawings where available.
